Tharushi Morawakkoralage Shines in All-Island Short Video Competition!

We are immensely proud to announce that Tharushi Morawakkoralage, a dedicated third-year undergraduate of B.Sc. Honours in Real Estate Management and Valuation.

Department of Estate Management and Valuation, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing 2nd place in the all-island Short Video Competition on “AI Revolutionizing Library Services”, organised in parallel with the 14th International Conference of University Librarians Association of Sri Lanka 2024.

In a highly competitive field that included participants from universities across Sri Lanka, Tharushi’s creativity and innovative thinking stood out, showcasing her exceptional skills and understanding of how artificial intelligence can transform library services. Her video not only highlighted the potential benefits of Al in enhancing user experiences but also addressed critical challenges in the evolving landscape of information management. We commend her for her outstanding efforts and contribution to promoting the integration of technology in education.
