Guest Lecture – Corporate Governance requirements and continuous listing requirements of the CSE
The Department successfully conducted a guest lecture on “Corporate Governance requirements and continuous listing requirements of the Colombo Stock Exchange” on the 08th of March 2021 at 06.00pm via Zoom Meeting Platform. The event was a value addition for the audience to understand the importance of disclosures, enforcement actions, what are related party transactions and many more real-world scenarios were discussed. The resource person for the evening was Ms. Nilupa Perera who is currently serving as the Head of Trading Operations, Market Surveillance and Corporate Affairs at the CSE. Her 20 plus years of experience in strategic planning, corporate finance, and capital markets along with 12 plus years of experience at CSE made the session more interesting and useful for the audience.
