2019 New Year Celebrations at Department of Commerce
Department of Commerce celebrated 2019 new year traditions along with a table filled with new year sweets. Dean of the faculty, head, all department members and students participated for the event.

COMSO society of Department of Commerce organized a bodhi pooja programme named ‘Sadham Varsha -2019″ on 30th January 2019. Members of the Commerce and other departments and students participated for the programme.
Meeting with IGP – Sri Lanka
COMSO society meet Inspector General of Police, Mr. Pujith Jayasundara at police head quarters and collected some inspirational information, for their magazine “Vanijaya Arunalu”. They have selected Mr. Pujith Jayasundara who was graduated from department of commerce, as a role model for their magazine.

“Leadership and Team Development Skills” Workshop
The Commerce Students Society of the Department of Commerce (COMSO) has organised a “Leadership and team development skills” workshop on 14th February 2018, collaboration with the Career Guidance Unit (CGU) of USJP. The event was well attended by the third year Bachelor of Commerce students.
