Dr. Cahmmera Udawattha won Best Young Innovator Award 22/23 Best Young Innovator Award 22-23

It is with great pleasure that we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Chameera Udawattha for his remarkable achievement in being awarded the Best Young Innovator Award 22-23. This prestigious award was presented to him by the esteemed Dean of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, during a ceremony held on the 31st of March 2023, in the Senate Board room.The International Research Conference in Health Sciences organized this award, which had three categories: two runners-up awards, and the Best Innovator Award, which Dr. Chameera received. His exceptional number of innovations was the reason he was chosen as the best innovator.Dr. Chameera Udawattha’s success in receiving this recognition is due to his outstanding contributions to research and innovation in the field of medicine, engineering, and allied health sciences. His research efforts to control mosquito breeding in Colombo have been extensive, and the selection committee has given special consideration to his meticulous innovation, which he developed during the challenging times of Sri Lanka. Dr. Chameera has impressed the selection committee with his research-based innovation, which he developed during a lockdown period, demonstrating how research and development can contribute to significant advancements in innovation.We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Dr. Chameera Udawattha, the best young innovator of the year, on this impressive achievement.
