Field Visit to Kandy

Property inspection stands as a fundamental skillset for valuers, enabling the precise delineation of property features and market specifics crucial for precise valuation appraisals. Proficiency in executing a thorough property inspection is of utmost importance. Consequently, the ability to adeptly capture property intricacies through photography has become a vital competency. Our undergraduate have undergone rigorous training in these proficiencies, equipping them for a competitive future as Chartered Valuation Surveyors. Moreover, REMV Degree Part II students have gained hands-on expertise in property inspection and photography, exploring a diverse range of properties, spanning from historic to contemporary, within the charming streets of Kandy in this field visit on 26th of October 2023. They have wholeheartedly embraced a learn-by-doing approach.
