Guest Lecture on Property Inspections, Investigations and Records

A guest lecture on “Property Inspections, Investigations and Records” was conducted by Vlr D. Prathapasinghe FRICS, Chartered Valuation Surveyor, Secretary of RICS Sri Lanka and Managing Director of Prathap Chartered Valuation and Consultancy (Pvt) Ltd. This lecture was organized under the EMV 3345: Advanced Valuation (Practical Report) module for the EMV undergraduates of degree part III and held at the department premises on 21st of June 2022 from 09.00am to 12.00noon. During the lecture, Mr Prathapasinghe covered the required knowledge a competent valuer should have and factors to be considered when carrying out inspections and investigations properties to the extent necessary to produce a valuation that is professionally adequate for its purpose.
