The Department of Estate Management and Valuation has recently tie-up Altus Group Australia and incorporated the state-of-the-art ARGUS EstateMaster software into its undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum, enhancing the learning experience for property development feasibility analysis and management. Our students now possess the skills to confidently navigate the entire life cycle of real estate development projects. With this software, they can perform development feasibility assessments, conduct appraisals, and evaluate residual land value. Furthermore, students can proficiently calculate key performance indicators (KPIs) such as development margin, net present value, and internal rate of return (IRR). They also acquire expertise in managing development budgets, overseeing project cash flow, generating property development portfolio reports, and consolidating information. This results in their ability to produce industry-standard feasibility reports and adeptly handle detailed project cash flows and forecasts.
