Mr. Nimasha Sugathadasa is a Lecturer (Probationary) in the Department of Estate Management and Valuation at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. He holds a First Class Honours degree in Estate Management and Valuation and is currently reading for an M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics at the University of Peradeniya. His teaching and research interests include real estate valuation, land management, agricultural valuation, urban planning, and consumer behavior in real estate.
With experience in both academia and professional valuation practice, Mr. Sugathadasa has contributed to numerous research publications in reputable journals and conferences. He has been actively involved in property, asset, and rental valuation assignments through the Centre for Real Estate Studies (CRES) and has participated in several consultancy and research projects. His professional affiliations include student membership in the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and accreditation as a Green Associate Professional (GREENSL® AP).
Mr. Sugathadasa has received several academic distinctions, including the Gold Medal for the Most Outstanding Student of the B.Sc. Estate Management and Valuation degree programme. He remains committed to advancing real estate education, research, and sustainable land management practices in Sri Lanka.

Further offering academic advice, assisting with course selection, providing study strategies, and fostering a supportive learning environment are major responsibilities of the said positions. In addition Mentor also offer career guidance, connect students with opportunities, and serve as a liaison between students and faculty. Thus my final gole is to help students succeed academically and reach their full potential.

Appointed as Supervisors for the Asset Valuation Project at the University of Sri Jayewardanepura, our responsibilities encompass asset verification, valuation, and report preparation for financial reporting purposes. This involves ensuring the accuracy of the university's asset inventory, determining fair market values, and providing comprehensive valuation reports. Our role is pivotal in maintaining transparency and reliability in the university's financial reporting processes.

As a Valuation Officer, I am tasked with determining the rental values for a property intended for acquisition by the university for accommodation purposes. My responsibility involves formulating a concise Rental Valuation Report based on thorough analysis of market conditions, location, and comparable rental rates. This report will guide informed decision-making regarding the property's acquisition and utilization for hostel accommodation by the university.
