Undergraduatesof B.Sc. Honours in REMV visited St. Joachim Estate Tea Factory, Tea Research Institute (Low country station) in Kuruwita!

The third year undergraduates from the B.Sc. Honours in Real Estate Management and Valuation program recently visited the St. Joachim Estate Tea Factory, Tea Research Institute (Low country station) in Kuruwita! This educational field trip, organized by the DEMV in collaboration with Institute of Valuers of Sri Lanka (IVSL) and the Government Valuation Department, was part of their EMV 3328: Agricultural Valuation coursework.

During the visit, students explored the factory, learned about tea processing, and gained hands-on experience in building measurements. This practical experience provided valuable insights into agricultural valuation practices, enhancing their knowledge and skills for real-world applications.
