Empowering the Future Generation: MMA Hosts Amunekandura Maha Vidyalaya!

Marketing Management Association (MMA) of the Department of Marketing Management, in collaboration with the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, recently welcomed around 100 students from Amunekandura Maha Vidyalaya, Monaragala, as part of the “Nenasara” project on May 29th, 2024.

Dr. Dushan Jayawickrama, Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, captivated the students with insights into the importance of higher education, the rich history of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and the incredible opportunities within our Faculty. Prof. Kusumalatha Lankamulla, Head of the Department of Sinhala and Mass Communication, also inspired the students to aim high and highlighted the proud legacy of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

The students had an amazing time touring our campus, exploring both academic and recreational facilities, and connecting with our passionate students. The visit was all about inspiring these young minds towards academic excellence and personal growth.
