To be eligible for the Master of Marketing Program, an applicant must possess one of the following qualifications and a good working knowledge in English.

  1. A qualification equivalent to SLQF 5 or above in Marketing, Management or relevant discipline from a recognized university, degree-awarding institute, or professional institute.
  2. A qualification equivalent to SLQF 5 or above in any other discipline from a recognized university, degree-awarding institute, or professional institute, along with prior learning or one-year of relevant experience.
  3. A qualification (passed-finalist) from a professional institute equivalent to SLQF 5 or above professional institute, along with prior learning or two years of relevant experience.
  4. Higher National Diploma in Accountancy (HNDA)/ Higher National Diploma in Management (HNDM) / Higher National Diploma in Commerce (HNDC) (4-year course) offered by Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education with one year relevant experience.
  5. Completion of NVQ Level 7 in a relevant discipline, as determined by the BOSBS of the FMSC.
  6. Any other qualification accepted by the Senate of University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
