Stepping into year 2020

The second year students of the Department of Accounting organized a blissful event to ceremonially welcome the dawn of the New Year 2020. The Head of the department, lecturers, non-academic staff members and the students of the department participated for this event. The novel beginning was marked with the traditional act of “kiri ithiraweema”, which is believed to be a good omen and a symbol of prosperity. The department premise was beautifully decorated to suit the festive atmosphere. This official celebration was followed with a delightful tea party.
