Welcome of Second Year Students
The official welcome of the second year students of the department was successfully held on 29th Thursday, 2018 at Fayol hall of the Faculty Management Studies and Commerce. The Head of the department, Dr. Harendra Kariyawasam, and academic and non-academic staff members graced this occasion with their participation.
After the Head of the department extended his warm welcome to the second year students of the department, Snr. Prof. Kennedy Gunawardene and retired Snr. Prof. K.B.M. Fonseka addressed the gathering respectively.
Dr. Chathurika Senevirathne and Mr. Rangajeewa Herath, made this an opportunity to share the grand legacy of the department with the newly joined second year students. This was more effective as the two presenters are alumni members of the Department of Accounting.
A very warm and vivacious atmosphere prevailed throughout the program and it was a very blissful afternoon.
