Corporate Sustainability Accounting – Field Visit
The third year students who are following ACC 3348: Corporate Sustainability Accounting course visited the Stretchline (Pvt) Ltd. on 17th September 2018 to experience the sustainable practices in the apparel sector. These group of students were accompanied by the lecturers of the Department, Ms. Dinushi Wijesinghe and Ms. Thilini Cooray.
Farewell
The academic staff members of the Department with their families got together to wish good luck to Ms. Dinushi Wijesinghe who will be leaving to Australia for her Ph. D studies and to bid farewell to the former English Tutor, Ms. Radhika Ponnamperuma. This function was held on 19th September 2018 at the Maharaja Palace.

CIMA Book Donation
Charted Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) Sri Lanka Division made a book donation to the Department of Accounting on 3rd May 2018. The institute has donated more than hundred Certificate, Operational, Management and Strategic level texts books published by Kaplan and BPP (2018 editions).
