Welcome Ceremony for Second Year Undergraduates - 2026

The Department of Accounting officially welcomed the new batch of second-year students on 5th January 2026. The ceremony was graced by the incumbent Head of the Department, academic staff, and non-academic staff members. The guest speaker was Ms. Sandani Vithanage, an Audit Director at Jayasinghe & Company Chartered Accountants and a proud alumnus of the Department. During the event, students were given a comprehensive introduction to the Department’s culture, practices, and opportunities, as well as an overview of AFMA, the student body of the Department.
