“Having achieved the fourth-best z-score from 2015 A/Ls, choosing BSc Honours in Business Administration (Business Economics) degree programme over other popular selections was a decision I have not second-guessed. Your life is an accumulation of choices and choosing a bachelor’s specialization is crucial since it determines and influences your future professional and personal life. The main reason I chose Business Economics was that it does not limit you to a specific field of technical study. You can use the blend of Management and Economics to thrive in a variety of domains such as investment management, finance, operations management, research and development, international relations and core economics. Thus it is a smart option to reduce your opportunity cost while exploring your capabilities.

Currently, the program’s scope has been enriched by allowing students to follow a specialization of their interest out of Banking, Development Studies, International Economics, and Business. Each specialization equips you with highly demanded, practical, and timely subject knowledge. A signature feature of the Department is its highly supportive and student’s centred learning culture. It also encourages students to participate in social, professional, and skill-building activities that enrich their time at the Department. Looking back on the four-year journey as a student and today,  looking upon myself as an Assistant Lecturer at my very own Department itself, I am thankful for the BIZCON family.
