ME-Expo 2019: Industrial Exhibition of Innovations

BEC 3340: Managerial Economics course offered by the Department of Business Economics provides knowledge in application of economic theory in management practices. The course is received by six departments of the faculty and more than 600 students are following this.
As a partial fulfillment of the course, “ME-Expo 2019”, an Industrial Exhibition on Innovations took place on the 12th March 2019 at the university premises.
Under this, students were required to develop an innovative product or service concept as a solution to a current market gap. Thereafter, they had to conduct a market survey and in-depth analysis on demand estimation for the new product.
The objective of this event was to enhance the knowledge on the application of managerial economics tools in organizations’ decision making in a dynamic environment while improving the analytical skills and data presentation skills of the students.
