Navigate Sri Lanka 2025 – Industry Forum

Themed “Sri Lanka’s Role in Global Sustainable Trade: Aligning Policies and Enhancing Competitiveness for a Sustainable Supply Chain,” the Navigate Sri Lanka 2025 Industry Forum was held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. onwards at the Sri Sumangala Auditorium, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

This event held for the 6th consecutive time was organised by the final-year undergraduates of the Department of Business Economics under the subject BEC 4372: International Trade and Payments coordinated by Prof. Sumudu Perera.

The forum created a dynamic platform for dialogue between field experts, industry leaders, and students on steering Sri Lanka’s trade landscape towards sustainability and innovation.

We were privileged to host a distinguished panel of experts:

  • Ms. Rozanne de Almeida – Head of Trade, Hatton National Bank PLC

The discussion was moderated by Mr. Asel Hettiarachchi, Lecturer, Department of Business Economics.

From policy alignment and sustainable trade practices to real-world industry challenges, the evening was filled with meaningful insights, thoughtful dialogue, and shared learning.
