Outbound Training Programme 2025

The Outbound Training Programme 2025, organised under the course BEC 3180: Personal and Professional Development for the second and third-year undergraduates of the Department of Business Economics, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, was successfully held at the Sri Lanka Air Force Training Academy, China Bay, Trincomalee, from 3rd to 6th September.

This four-day programme was a specially crafted experience designed to enrich leadership traits, discipline, and teamwork. Students engaged in a variety of activities, from challenging mind games to well-structured leadership sessions, followed by a first-aid lecture where the undergraduates had the opportunity to gain deeper insights.

On the second day, following a hike up the scenic Diamond Hill, the evening came alive at Marble Beach with a glowing bonfire and vibrant performances by both second- and third-year undergraduates.

From the inception of the event, the Sri Lanka Air Force extended exceptional hospitality and guidance, ensuring that every activity instilled the values of discipline, punctuality, and mutual respect.

The outbound training programme was a memorable adventure and a valuable learning experience, enabling the undergraduates to return with strengthened leadership skills and a higher commitment to personal and professional growth.
