Survey Camp with Year III Undergraduates
A Five-day Practical Training Camp organized for the year III undergraduates of B.Sc. Estate Management and Valuation (Special) Degree Programme was successfully held from 08th November 2021 to 12th November 2021 at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura premises under strict health and safety guidelines. The purpose of this Practical Training Camp was to complete the practical component of the EMV 2246 Surveying & Levelling II subject, which was postponed due to Covid 19 Pandemic. Under this practical training camp, students were divided into five groups, and five Registered Licensed Surveyors; Mr K.V.M.W. Samaranayaka, Mr M.W. Perera, Mr S. Liyanage, Mr K.A. Silva, and Mr W.A. Fernando who are also Visiting Lecturers for the said subject, guided these groups in completing the camp. In addition, five academic staff members from the Department of Estate Management and Valuation; Mr. Lasika Munasinghe, Ms. Yasheema Kumuduni, Ms. Anjanie Dasanayake, Mr. Nimasha Sugathadasa, and Ms. Shyamalie Galappaththi, were also assigned to assist the groups.
