Guest Lecture on Values and Attitude Building of Undergraduates

The Department of Accounting, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, successfully conducted a guest lecture on “Values and Attitude Building of Undergraduates” on 12th January 2026 under the course Personal and Professional Development for second-year undergraduates.

The session was delivered by Mr. Sandeepa Jayasekera, an alumnus of the Department of Accounting and the Chief Executive Officer of Jaayasekara Management Centre. The lecture focused on the importance of values, attitudes, ethical conduct, and professional discipline in shaping successful professionals.

The event was well received by the students. The session provided valuable guidance to undergraduates as they prepare to enter the professional and corporate world. This session was also attended by the academic staff members of the department – Senior Professor Samanthi Senaratne,  Ms Radika Ponnamperuma and Mr Akila Gamage.
