Welcome Ceremony for Second Year Undergraduates – 2025

The Department of Accounting officially welcomed the new batch of second-year students on March 17, 2025. The ceremony was graced by the incumbent Head of the Department, academic staff, and non-academic staff members. The guest speaker was Mr. Chaaminda Kumarasiri, Chairman/Principal Consultant of HCP Consulting, Chairman of ACCA Sri Lanka, and a proud alumnus of the Department. During the event, students were given a comprehensive introduction to the Department’s culture, practices, and opportunities, as well as an overview of AFMA, the student body of the Department.
