Department of Accounting Alumna Honoured with Rising Woman Student Award – CA

Ms. Saveisha Roshinie, a proud graduate of the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, was honoured with the Rising Woman Student Award – CA at the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) Women Leadership Awards 2026, held on 11 October 2026 at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.

She graduated with First Class Honours in the B.Sc. Accounting (Special) Degree and was ranked 6th among the top 18 GPA holders of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce in 2024. Ms. Roshinie currently holds ACA and ACCA memberships and serves as Manager – Accounting & Reporting Assurance at Deloitte Partners, Sri Lanka & Maldives.

This remarkable achievement reflects her academic and professional excellence and brings great pride to the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, and the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
