AFMA FitTrek 2026

AFMA FitTrek 2026, a three-day Outbound Leadership and Team Building Training Programme, was successfully organised by the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, in collaboration with its student body, the Accounting and Financial Management Association (AFMA). The programme was held from 18 to 20 May 2026 at the Sri Lanka Army Special Forces Training School, Maduru Oya.

The programme aimed to enhance the leadership, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills of accounting undergraduates through a range of outdoor activities and team-building exercises. A total of 183 undergraduates from the Department of Accounting participated in the programme, gaining valuable practical experiences that contributed to their personal and professional development.

ACCA Sri Lanka and H-Connect Private Limited (a Hirdaramani Group Venture) supported the programme as Co-Title Partners.

AFMA FitTrek 2026 provided participants with an opportunity to develop their leadership capabilities, strengthen teamwork, build lasting friendships, and create memorable experiences beyond the classroom.
