Presenting ‘Along an Untrodden Path’ to the Chairman of University Grants Commission

The Coffee Table Book, ALONG AN UNTRODDEN PATH, which unravels the legacy of the Department of Accounting, co-authored by Dr Mangala Fonseka, Dr Athula Manawaduge and Senior Professor Samanthi Senaratne, was launched early in this year (2020).

Dr Harendra Kariyawasam, the Head of the Department of Accounting presented this momentous compilation to Senior Professor (Chair)Sampath Amaratunge; the Chairman of University Grants Commission (UGC), Sri Lanka, at the UGC premises. In appreciation of the sponsorship and immense support provided by the Alumni Association in this endeavour, the president of alumni association of the Department of Accounting; Mr. Pradeep Amarawardena was also presented with a copy of the Coffee Table Book.
