Dileepa Samudrage is a Professor of Accounting at the Department of Accounting, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. She specializes in management control systems, performance measurement systems, and beyond budgeting. She earned her Doctorate in Business from Meijo University, Japan, and also holds an MSc from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, an M.Econ from Wakayama University, Japan, and a BCom (Special) degree from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
She is an active researcher and has published widely in the areas of management control systems, beyond budgeting, performance management, corporate sustainability accounting, and integrated reporting in leading international peer-reviewed indexed journals. She has also co-authored a book chapter in Integrated Reporting (IR): Business Cases for Sustainability in South Asia, published by Springer International Publishing.
