BIO

Senior Professor Kennedy Gunawardana is a distinguished academician renowned for his expertise in Accounting Information Systems and esteemed leadership as Chair of the Department of Accounting at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. He has extensive experience in academia, administration, and consultancy, with significant contributions in teaching, research, and publications. His expertise extends to areas such as artificial intelligence, financial reporting, environmental management, and economic development. With over 700 Google citations and numerous publications in refereed journals and books, he is recognized as a leader in his field.
