Thilini Cooray is a Lecturer (Probationary) in the Department of Accounting at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. in Management at the same university. She holds an M.Sc. in Management and a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Additionally, Thilini is an associate member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka and a CIMA passed finalist.

Her teaching areas include management accounting, financial accounting, and sustainability accounting and reporting. She has co-authored several indexed journal publications and book chapters in the fields of sustainability accounting and reporting, integrated reporting, and accounting education. Thilini is actively involved in both local and international research projects, contributing significantly to the advancement of knowledge and practice in her areas of expertise.
