The 20th Annual General Meeting of BIZCON, the Business Economics Studentsโ Association of the Department of Business Economics, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, was successfully held on 14th January 2026 at E111 LH. The event marked the official transition of leadership from the outgoing Executive Committee to the newly appointed Board of Officials for the term 2026.
The occasion was honored by the presence of Prof. Ananda Rathnayake, Head of the Department of Business Economics, whose encouraging address reaffirmed the Departmentโs unwavering support for BIZCONโs future initiatives. The event was further graced by the presence of senior lecturers and lecturers, who conveyed their blessings and good wishes to the new team.
The transition also included key appointments, with Mr. Asel Hettiarachchi taking on the position of Senior Treasurer and Advisor, and Mr. Binura Shaminda being appointed as Association In-Charge for the upcoming term.
