The 6th Annual Conference on Business Economics (ACBE) 2025 was successfully held on the 18th of February 2025 at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. This year, the conference was organized in collaboration with the 21st International Conference on Business Management (ICBM) 2025 of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, under the theme Tech Titans and Turmoil: Leveraging Disruptive Technologies for Sustainable Business Transformation.

The inauguration ceremony was held at the Senate Boardroom of the University, featuring a keynote address by Retired Senior Professor and KPMG Endowed Professor in the Department of Accounting, Dr. Mangala Fonseka.

At the Annual Conference on Business Economics, 19 presenters, all recently graduated department students, presented their research. The session chairs included professors and senior lecturers from the department, faculty, and representatives from the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
