ECONINSIGHT 2021

Making an educated generation is the best way to empower the nation as it creates significant positive impacts on society as well as on the economy. With that great motive as responsible young undergraduates, the Business Economics Students’ Association of the Department of Business Economics successfully organized “ECONINSIGHT 2021”, a two-phased seminar on Economics for the 6th consecutive year with the aim of enhancing the subject knowledge of the G.C.E. (Advanced Level) students.

An exam-focused model paper was discussed in this seminar by Dr. Ananda Rathnayake and Dr. Janaka Fernando, Senior Lecturers of the Department of Business Economics.

The seminar was held virtually on 10th and 12th August 2021, with school teachers and students from all over the country participating via Zoom and YouTube live streaming. Further, the recorded videos of the discussions are available in the BIZCON official YouTube channel in order to satisfy the future learning needs of a vast number of students. The seminar was sponsored by Achievers Lanka Business School.
