Guest Lecture on "Mastering Social Etiquette for Career and Personal Excellence.”

On December 12th, 2024, the Department of Business Economics, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce (FMSC) at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura hosted an enriching special guest lecture on “Mastering Social Etiquette for Career and Personal Excellence.” The event was held at the Old Faculty Board Room and featured Prof. Shiru Wijemanna, a renowned Grooming Consultant, Lecturer & Trainer, and Senior Beautician, as the distinguished speaker.

Prof. Wijemanna shared her expertise on the significance of social etiquette and professionalism in both personal and career development. The lecture focused on key aspects of effective communication, appropriate behaviour in various social settings, and the impact of a polished appearance on professional success.
