Commerce Society (COMSO) of the Department of Commerce organized a Bhakthi Geetha recital “Methpini Warsha” in Commemoration of the Poson Festival on the “Hadhawila Elimahan Ragabima” open theatre arena of University of Sri Jayewardenepura on 15th June 2022 this was the first event that took place at the open theatre gifting another establishment for the students of the university community from the university administration. The recitals were performed by undergraduates belonging to Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, Faculty of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Technology and Engineering, and Faculty of Applied Sciences of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura with the patronage of the Vice-Chancellor Senior Professor Sudantha Liyanage, Dean – Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce Professor P. D. Nimal, and Heads of Departments of Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce. The event was enlightened by Harith Wijerathne “The Voice Sri Lanka 2021” winner who is a fourth-year undergraduate of University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Also, reality stars Midori Karunaratne and Harsha Dhananjaya undergraduates of the university too shared the spotlight of this glamourous event.
