Outstanding Student Performance at All Island Essay Competition on Economic Freedom
Anjana Waidyarathna, final year undergraduate of the Department of Business Economics has won the 1st runners up at the all island essay competition for the undergraduates from the state universities and higher education institutes in the country. This competition was held on the 13th October 2017 as a part of the ‘Advocata Economic Freedom Summit 2017’ organized by the Advocate Institute, Colombo. Advocata Institute is an independent free-market think tank based in Colombo dedicated to economic development through free-markets.
