Pasan Wijayawardhana represents Sri Lanka at 16th SAESM in Kathmandu

Mr. Pasan Wijayawardhana, fourth year undergraduate of the Department of Business Economics has been selected to the national team to represent Sri Lanka at the 16th South Asian Economics Students’ Meet (SAESM) 2020 to be held in Kathmandu, Nepal in January 2020. He received this opportunity after winning the national level Economic Research Paper competition themed “Mainstreaming Gender for Development” organized to select members to the national team. Mr. Wijayawardhana also won the Best Paper Award under the theme of “Poverty and Food Security” at the 15th SAESM 2019 held in January 2019 in Colombo.
