
Out Bound Training Program 2024 – Department of Business Economics
On the 7th and 8th of December, undergraduates and postgraduates from the Department of Business Economics participated in a memorable two-day outbound training program at the Uva Kuda Oya Commando Regiment Training School. The program featured activities designed to test physical endurance, foster teamwork, and build mental resilience, providing a balanced mix of learning and enjoyment.
The first day included team-based activities aimed at enhancing collaboration and problem-solving skills, concluding with a vibrant bonfire. On the second day, participants undertook a challenging yet rewarding hike to Monarakanda, offering them the opportunity to connect with nature and experience its breathtaking beauty.
The Department extends special appreciation to Major Nalin Kulathunga and the staff of the Commando Regiment Training School for their exceptional guidance, support, and hospitality during the program, which created lasting memories and strengthened the participants’ sense of camaraderie.
