Residential Research Workshop at Yagirala 2024

The Final Year Undergraduates of the Department of Business Economics, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura successfully concluded a two-days residential workshop under the subject BEC: 4341 Research Methodology. The workshop took place on May 4th and 5th, 2024, at the Yagirala Forest Research and Conservation Center. Grama Niladari of that area and Divisional officers joined the undergraduates to provide insights about the area. Under the guidance of Dr. Janaka Fernando, Mr. Asel Hettiarachchi, Mr. Pasindu Dissanayake, Ms. Oshadhi Silva, and Ms. Dileesha Sewwandi, the final year undergraduates completed a mini-research project addressing a significant issue in the area. Additionally, they conducted surveys in groups, gaining valuable experience and enjoying the collaborative process as a cohort.
