Dr. Dinesha Siriwardhane is a Senior Lecturer in Business Economics at the esteemed Department of Business Economics, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. With an illustrious academic journey, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics (special) with first-class honors, followed by a Master of Science in Management degree from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in 2000 and 2005 respectively. Dr. Siriwardhane furthered her academic pursuits by completing a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Colombo in 2004, before attaining her Ph.D. from the same university. Displaying nearly two decades of dedicated service as a lecturer in Business Economics at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Dr. Siriwardhane has made significant contributions to both academia and research. Her expertise is underscored by a prolific publication record, with numerous research articles featured in indexed and peer-reviewed journals, as well as conference proceedings. In addition to her scholarly endeavors, Dr. Siriwardhane serves as the Chief Editor of the prestigious Sri Lanka Journal of Business Economics, and she holds the esteemed position of co-editor at the Vidyodaya Journal of Management. Further she served as the Head of the Department of Business Economics. Her multifaceted roles within academia exemplify her commitment to advancing knowledge and fostering intellectual discourse within the field of Business Economics.
