Himasha is a Lecturer Probationary (On Contract) attached to the Department of Business Economics, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura and is also a CIMA passed finalist. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Business Economics) Degree with a First Class Honors from University of Colombo, and her core teaching and research interests include Behavioral Economics, Economics of Real Estate, Labor Economics, and Managerial Economics. She also brings industry experience as a research analyst and is keen on integrating psychology based insights into Economics, research, and decision making.
