5th Annual Conference on Business Economics (ACBE) 2024

The 5th Annual Conference on Business Economics (ACBE) 2024, themed “Leveraging Digital Transformation for Economic Recovery,” organized by the Research Center for Business Economics and Development Studies (RCBEDS) of the Department of Business Economics, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, is scheduled to be held on the 28th of February 2024 at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura premises.
As a pivotal part of the 5th ACBE 2024, an Economic Forum themed “Leveraging Digital Transformation for Economic Recovery,” will be held from 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm on the 28th of February 2024 at the Senate Board Room. The forum aims to delve into the applications of digital tools to tackle pressing development challenges. Moreover, the discussion is aimed to highlight the effective use of these tools to aid Sri Lanka’s recovery from the recent economic crisis.
This forum will be featured by a distinguished panel, including Mr. Chanuka Wattegama (Director (Policy), Information and Communication Technology Agency), Dr. Vipula Wickramarachchi (Deputy Director, Economic Research Department, Central Bank of Sri Lanka), Mr. Kapila Karunaratne (Head of Delivery – Testing, Exactpro Sri Lanka), Mr. Sasitha Edirisinghe (Delivery Lead, Acuity Knowledge Partners), and Dr. Ananda Rathnayake (Senior Lecturer, Department of Business Economics) will serve as the moderator of this Economic Forum.
