Recognising Excellence in Business Economics
Ms. Oshadhie Silva of the Department of Business Economics was awarded the NIBM Gold Medal for being the highest GPA holder of the Department for the year 2020.
The award was presented at the 48th Convocation of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, held on 22 December 2021 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Colombo.
Ms. Silva secured the highest GPA in the Department of Business Economics among the students of the 2016/2017 batch. Alongside her academic achievements, she contributed actively to numerous student activities within the Department as a member of the Business Economics Students’ Association, BIZCON.
The NIBM Gold Medal is awarded annually to the best-performing student of the Department of Business Economics upon completion of the degree programme.
