Ms. Chalani Madhushani Liyanage: NIBM Gold Medalist in 2022

Ms. Chalani Madhushani Liyanage of the Department of Business Economics was awarded “the Gold Medal Donated by the National Institute of Business Management (NIBM)” for obtaining a First Class pass with the Highest Grade Point Average (GPA) at the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Business Economics) Special Degree Examination held in March 2022 at the 48th Convocation of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura which was held on the 22 of October 2022 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Colombo.

Ms. Chalani managed to become the highest GPA holder of the Department of Business Economics 2016/17 batch while extending his contribution to many student organisations in the University, including the Business Economics Students’ Association (BIZCON) during the years 2019 – 2021.
