"Talk to a Business Economist"

The Department of Business Economics at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura organized an insightful session titled “Talk to a Business Economist” on April 24th, 2024. The event, held from 3:00 PM onwards at the Old Faculty Board Room Hall, FMSC, USJ, aimed to provide students with valuable guidance for their future careers, guided by the Subject BEC 3180 Personal and Professional Development.

The session welcomed esteemed alumni as the main invited guests, including Ms. Achini Dharmasiriwardhana, General Manager of Marketing at Anverally Tea, and Mr. Manjula Tushara, Chief Internal Auditor & General Manager – Risk & Control at TeeJay Lanka PLC.

These distinguished alumni shared their insights and experiences with the students, offering practical advice and perspectives from their respective fields.
