Career & Corporate Readiness Session 2026 Equips BEC Undergraduates for the Corporate World
As part of BEC 3180 – Personal and Professional Development, the Department of Business Economics successfully conducted a special Career & Corporate Readiness Session 2026 for third-year undergraduates on 20th August 2026 at the Old Board Room, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
The session was enriched with valuable insights from Nestlé, providing students with practical knowledge and perspectives on key areas essential for successfully entering and adapting to the corporate environment.
Preparing Students for the Corporate World
A key focus of the programme was to strengthen students’ understanding of career readiness and employability. The session provided valuable exposure to corporate expectations, workplace readiness, internship preparation, and future career opportunities, helping students better understand what employers expect from graduates entering professional organizations.
