‘J’PURA Expo 2022 – Website Launching Ceremony
The website, https://handbookofexports.com/ was introduced as an event promoting website under ‘Japura Expo 2022’ as well as an information platform for the exporters as lack of information is a major issue in export development.
The website includes various fruitful information regarding the export industry such as export procedure, registering process as an exporter, exportable product ideas, export-related authorities and their services, trade documents with relevant details, contemporary issues in the export industry and how to overcome those issues and how to use Sri Lankan valuable resources effectively, banking and financing facilities available for the entrepreneurs. Furthermore, information regarding the business registration process for different types of business organizations was added value for the information seekers regarding businesses start-ups.
The website was successfully launched on Monday 5th December 2022 at Fayol Lecture Hall at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura with the participation of distinguished guests Snr. Prof. Sudantha Liyanage (Vice Chancellor, University of Sri Jayewardenepura), Prof. P. D. Nimal (Dean, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce), Dr. Janaka Fernando (Head, Department of Business Economics), lecturers and undergraduates of the Department of Business Economics. This website will be a very useful platform for the existing and potential exporters engage in their exports successfully and to boost Sri Lankan economy by stimulating the foreign exchange inflows to the economy.
