Research Workshop 2023

Learning never exhausts the mind.

The workshop was held on the 9th of April from 9am to 4pm with the participation of the final year undergraduates in the Department of Business Economics and the workshop was conducted by the Head of the Department, Course Coordinator of BEC4341 Research Methodology, Dr. Janaka Fernando.

Through interactive activities and discussions, participants learned about the theoretical background and research process including how to identify the research problem and finally how to prepare a research proposal.

At the end of the workshop participants provided positive feedback about the workshop, with many expressing appreciations for the interactive activities and practical tips provided. Overall, the workshop was successful in introducing undergraduate students to the basics of conducting research and providing them with tools to improve their research interests.
