ECONINSIGHT -Entering a New Era of Academic Excellence

Following ten years of remarkable success, ECONINSIGHT 2026 entered an exciting new chapter. Organized for the 11th consecutive year by the Business Economics Students’ Association (BIZCON) of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, the programme extended beyond geographical boundaries to support G.C.E. Advanced Level Commerce students across Sri Lanka.

To ensure equal access for aspiring students throughout the country, ECONINSIGHT 2026 made a significant transition to a fully virtual platform. Held on 11 June 2026, from 7.00 p.m. to 10.30 p.m., the online seminar enabled Advanced Level students from all parts of the island to connect, learn, and prepare for their examinations from the comfort of their homes.

The intensive academic sessions were conducted by lecturers from the Department of Business Economics, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Drawing on their academic expertise and teaching experience, the lecturers simplified complex economic concepts, provided valuable examination guidance, and equipped students with the knowledge and skills required to approach their upcoming examinations with confidence.

Now entering its second decade, ECONINSIGHT continues to support the Department’s commitment to extending high-quality educational resources and equitable learning opportunities to students across the country. Through this initiative, BIZCON and the Department of Business Economics continue to contribute meaningfully to the academic development of Advanced Level students in Sri Lanka.
