Dr. U. Anura Kumara Re-Elected as the Dean of the FMSC
A special Faculty Board meeting was convened today (May 24, 2017) to appoint a Dean for the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura as the term of office of the current Dean ends on 28 May 2017. The meeting was chaired by the (Acting) Vice-Chancellor Prof. P.B. Mandawela. Since there were two names proposed, an election had to be called. With an unprecedented win of 73% valid votes Dr. Anura Kumara, the incumbent Dean, was re-elected for a 2nd term.
