From 2016, the Department of Decision Sciences, organizing the annual “Operations and Technology Management Research Symposium” OTMURS. The aim of this symposium was to open a stage to our research/internship students to present their research or internship project in front of their peers, staff members of the department, and experts from the industry. The department of Decision Sciences has identified the need to develop a research culture where students of the department would get involved in conducting research related to operations and technology management. From the symposium, it is expected to enhance the image of the Department of Decision Sciences as a whole and disseminate knowledge in the operations and technology management to the industry and society. We also expect to bring industrialists, academics, and researchers to discuss, share and express their needs and views.
