Undergraduate Research Day 2016 (Dept. of PUB)

The Department of Public Administration organized an Undergraduate Research day on 26th September 2016 for the first time in the Faculty. The main objective of this Research Conference was to encourage and appreciate students for the research and allow them to experience the value of research as undergraduates. 7 selected research papers were presented by the final year students based on their dissertations. The papers in the proceedings were subjected to a peer reviewing process under the senior academics of various academic disciplines of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce. The Department deeply appreciates their valuable contribution and assistance in making this research session an academically rewarding experience to all the participants. Also the Department believes that these research findings will enable to address various issues in the field of social Sciences in general and public policy and Management in particular. Mr. N. Nilwala, Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, Land, Irrigation, Fisheries, Animal Production & Health, and Agrarian Development, Western Province in Sri Lanka delivered an excellent Key note speech which made our audience enlightened.
